3. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services solely for your internal business or personal use, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or reverse engineer the Services
- Scrape, harvest, or republish data or reports
- Use the Services to build or train competing products
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Profit Inc.
4. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for:

- All activity that occurs under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
5. Data Access & Authorization
By connecting financial systems or submitting data, you represent that:
- You are authorized to provide such data
- You have the legal right to grant Profit Inc access
- You consent to processing as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Usage pages
You may revoke access at any time through supported integrations.
6. Financial Information Disclaimer (Important)
Profit Inc does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice.
All outputs, reports, benchmarks, and insights are:
- Informational only
- Based on data you provide or authorize
- Subject to limitations, assumptions, and third-party dependencies
You are solely responsible for decisions made based on the Services. You should consult qualified professionals before acting on any financial information.
7. Aggregated & Benchmark Data
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Your data may be aggregated with data from other users (minimum 10+)
- Aggregated data is de-identified and non-attributable
- Profit Inc retains all rights to aggregated insights and benchmarks
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Provide false or misleading data
- Interfere with system security or performance
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Upload malicious code or harmful content
- Use the Services for fraudulent or abusive purposes
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to the Services — including software, trademarks, content, methodologies, and reports — belongs to Profit Inc or its licensors.
You retain ownership of your raw data, but grant Profit Inc a limited license to process it solely to provide the Services.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., accounting providers, data licensors).
Profit Inc is not responsible for:
- Third-party availability or accuracy
- Their privacy or security practices
- Changes or interruptions outside our control
Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
11. Fees, Payments & Refunds
Paid Services are subject to pricing and billing terms presented at purchase.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Fees are non-refundable
- Subscriptions renew automatically
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You violate these Terms
- Required payments are not made
- Use poses legal, security, or operational risk
Upon termination:
- Access to Services ends
- Certain provisions (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) survive
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
PROFIT INC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
PROFIT INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO PROFIT INC IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Profit Inc from claims arising out of:
- Your use of the Services
- Your data or content
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
16. Changes to Services or Terms
We may update the Services or these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
All disputes shall be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in Texas, USA.
